A Hybrid Multi-Objective Optimization Method Based on NSGA-II Algorithm and Entropy Weighted TOPSIS for Lightweight Design of Dump Truck Carriage

The lightweight design of vehicle components is regarded as a complex optimization problem, which usually needs to achieve two or more objectives. It can be firstly solved by multi-objective algorithm for generating Pareto solutions, before then seeking the optimal design. However, it difficult determine lack engineering knowledge about ideal and nadir values. Therefore, this paper proposes procedure combined with NSGA-II entropy weighted TOPSIS dump truck carriage. finite element model carriage was developed modal analysis under unconstrained free state strength full load lifting conditions. On basis, carried out based on Kriging surrogate algorithm. Then, weight method employed select from solutions. results show that optimized achieves remarkable mass reduction 81 kg, much 3.7%, while its first-order natural frequency performance are slightly improved compared original model.
